walked around melbourne trying out my samsung camera..quite easy to use and compact.now all i need is more subjects for taking photos of and the motivation to do it..

my new bike 2011

recently , i put together a new bike for my weekend rides..its a 2007 avanti carbon which i got off ebay. Did spend some money on it with the components and all and a set of new r500 wheels.
overall i think its a good bike for road. I dont plan to do anything more with this and just waiting a get my hands on a cervelo R3

Fishing for Snappers

recently, i had the pleasure of fishing in Port Phillip bay, melbourne with my good friend Chai tin and her family. Here are some photos of that day. It was good fun and we had a good catch of snappers which were so yuumy to eat. Except for the cleaning but it was worth it. Definitely would do it again.

in the dark ..one with just the table lamp on and the other with the lights on both at nite indoors. . everything is on auto even though the ex 1 is a full manual camera.

amazing lens on the ex1.

Looking for a Cycling partner

I love cycling since i was a little boy. i can remember when even i was too small to ride a big bike i would somehow find a way .

today that passion is still in me and though i have not rode a bike for a number of years ..i feel connected to the beauty of biking and of cos everything related to it.

i was reading about cycling and was amused to find that my Battaglin which i bought in the early 1990 's is now a vintage bike ..hahah

i guess i m vintage too. It got delta brakes and downtube shifters and dura ace 7402 derailers but the steel bike is a thing of beauty ..

recently i bought two bikes..a diamond back with disc brakes..i have always wanted disc brakes and they soo cool..with some crappy rst suspension which i will change of cos

and i got a specialized sirrus 2007 for commuting..nice bike made of aluminium and carbon fiber and sexy geometry ..i put my XTR v brakes on it and xtr is the best ..

i m also considering getting a full carbon bike..to replace my vintage battaglin ..it will cost a bundle..so here are a few pics.

i m looking for a cycling partner this spring . If you are interested and live in the west of melbourne and free for weekend rides..road or mountain biking please contact me..i would say beginners level..thks
